Luminessence designs and markets the latest technology in Energy Efficient Luminaires.
Luminessence earned an Illuminating Engineering Society award for its redevelopment of 25 large growth rooms at the University of Alberta.
Specially designed, specular reflectors, ballast boxes and asymmetric luminaries increased illumination and reduced energy consumption to 1/3 of its previous level. Plant growth performance is enhanced and the quality of research results improved.
Smaller luminaries are available for use in growth chambers and growing benches.
